Being that it is summertime what better way to enjoy it other than fruity drinks, fresh food, and copious amounts time spent on the beach? My family and I have been buying so much fruit of all different kinds my counter has no more space but in a good way. I have been  making a whole bunch of juices and we drink it faster than I can make them. The one that I had last night was my dads papaya drink. Its AMAZING! Seriously I urge you to try it. I actually hate papayas and was super skeptical to try it but once I took my first sip I had 3 tall glasses of them and now looking back I don't regret it.

This drink is super easy to make the only things that you will need is :
1/2 of  a ripe papaya
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup of sugar
2 cups ice ( 14 cubes)
4 cups of ice cold water
 A blender
A strainer

The first thing that you want to do is scoop out the papaya into the blender along with the evaporated milk and sugar. Don't worry about having such coarse sugar granules they will disappear. I swear.
Then blend it to a super smooth consistency which won't take very long.
After that you are gonna add the ice about 1/2 at a time just to ensure that all the ice is pulverized and that everything stays smooth.
After that put it through a strainer and add the water.
TA-DA!!!!!!
The amazing and brilliant fruity concoction that is this papaya creation is ready to be gulped down.
Is it bad that I love a drink this much? I don't think so. I might be wrong though.

I drank this along side a mozzarella, tomato, and basil sandwich for dinner. The sandwich totally looks small but I had two. No shame.

I have moved from one place to another for school purposes and like anyone I hated the move. It totally sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do. So one of the ways that I decide to make the transition a little easier on myself was to change my bedroom to my liking in the best way that I could.

It actually took me quite awhile to figure out what things I wanted and what I didn't want and of course the huge question of where the bloody hell am I going to put all my clothes. (*sighs in frustration*) Of course I haven't finished anything and I still have way more to do to my room but this is it so far.

For starters I hung up some of my jackets and scarves with these little closeable hooks I purchased from Ikea.

I also hung up some fairy light strung up which are peeking through the left side of the photo and added about a million birds in flight all around my room. They add a nice vibe to my room and for some off reason I found them to be quite relaxing especially with the fairy lights on at night.

The next thing that I have done is added a mirror and a chest drawer to shove some of my clothes in. As you can tell I am kind of fond of animals that I cant have. Somewhat like a moose and an owl.

There's obviously a lot more to do with my room and I am not going to call it quits just yet because there still so much to do but I don't want to rush it. I feel like it will all come to place soon enough and so far I like the vibe that it is going in now.
P.s. I apologize for only showing bits and pieces of my room. I wanted to spare the gory details of what is my room

PRODUCT REVIEW

Hey guys! I recently purchased a pencil eye liner and I wanted to do a review of it so here goes. I bought the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place eye pencil. I really wanted a pencil rather than a liquid liner because I had only bought liquid liners before so this would be the first pencil that I have owned.

When I first tried it on I found it a lot easier than I thought it would have been. It is really soft and creamy and it glided on my eyes really easy. It also stays on very long on my eyes so that's always a plus.

The next couple times that I tried it on I had difficulty getting a nice clean line. However, I cannot blame this on the pencil because I probably needed to sharpen it. The smudger on the other end really did help fix that problem which is probably why it is there. haha.

Overall I really do like the pencil I just gotta take that big girl transition from liquid to pencil.

DIY BUTTERFLY FRAME!
Hellooo! Its almost officially summer! Two days ago it totally felt like summer. I was sweating and constantly taking showers. That is probably a little bit more than anyone would want to know. haha. Anyway, a long time ago (like last year) I was in Ikea and I saw a cute little shadow box of butterflies. It was the cutest thing but they were aligned in a military fashion which kinda bugged me. I wanted them more free looking and in flight like a butterfly should be. So i took it upon myself to get a shadow box and make my own little portrait of free spirited butterflies.

You are going to need -
A shadow box frame
Paper
Paint
Pencil
X acto knife

THAT'S IT!

First thing that I did was paint the background of the butterflies since I knew that I was going to cut out the wings of the butterflies and I didn't want to see plain ole cardboard. Once you have painted that you may leave it to dry somewhere.

Next onto the butterflies. Your creativity can come out to play here. I started drawing butterflies that I knew and then some that I had no idea what I was doing. I particularly love the orange one up top.

After your creative side has outdone its self you can move onto cutting out the wings. Don't do it all the way just leave some of it attached so that you do not run the risk of ripping that poor guys wings off. I really liked it when it the wing just touches the frame but I messed up and had gotten a frame with really small depth to it.

Finally you can piece everything back together and enjoy your creation!!! This DIY is definitely more time consuming than other ones but it is so worth it. Once I was done with it I ended up hanging it in my room and its been there ever since.

DIY PENCIL HOLDER
Adapted from Bethany Mota

I don't know about you but I have multiple canisters of pencils, crayons, brushes, and markers scattered all around my house. So when I first saw this DIY from a Youtuber named Bethany Mota, I made a note to self to make this DIY when it first came out. However, many months and toilet paper rolls later I was finally able to make it.

TIP #1- Save all your toilet paper rolls, seriously.

All that you are going to need is-

1.) A box of your choice
2.) Toilet paper rolls
3.) Glue
4.) Paint (optional)
5.) Sparkles (optional)
6.) Embellishes (optional)

I already had a box that I liked so I didn't want to paint over it but I did add some flower embellishments. But if you do not like the box that you have by all means paint over it to your liking. :)
Then decorate your rolls the way you would like them to look but keep in mind that you will not see most of them. For me, I had white rolls and some brown ones. As for the brown rolls that I had I didn't like them so I covered the tip of them with some silver glitter.

TIP #2 - Prepare to clean up a huge sparkly mess and expect it to be everywhereee even in places to

Then on a piece of paper or a plate pour a puddle of glue and dip one end of a rolls into the puddle to coat the bottom. Place the glued side of the rolls into the box and repeat the process till you have all the rolls in its place and then TA-DA! You're done!

Hey guys! Guess what arrived in the mail today? My Glossybox! I was so excited to get it and when it arrived in its cute little packaging I had to rip it open. I opened it up to see the usual description of the six products inside with an extra gift card to Bergdorf Goodman.

This is my first Glossybox subscription and I am very pleased with the box that I got for this month.

The first item that I received was the Napoleon Perdis primer. I am really skeptical of  face products with a scent to them however I do like the scent and am excited to try it out.

Then the Revive eye serum.

Next the Alterna CC cream for your hair. I am really excited that I found this product in my box because I am actually a really big fan of hair products.

I totally forgot to take a picture of this product :(

Then the lancer life serum. This product is for your skin and is supposed to "firm and lift" your skin.

Then onto another product that I am really happy about is the Aerin beauty cream. Now I have to tell you that i have this really intense and slightly obsessive thing with roses and rose scented things. I absolutely adore them and I am really excited to try this product out.

Finally, the Sulwhasoo cream. This cream is has an interesting scent that I am not too fond of. ( Korean herbs and red pine) It is supposed to leave your skin soft and healthy looking. I think that I will be the most critical of this product out of all of them.

If you did like the products, I know that Glossybox is sold out but Goodman is selling the box online from their store for $40 if you would like to purchase the box.
I will post an update video on what products I did like and what I didn't on my YouTube channel!

MAY FAVORITES!!!

This is probably one of the most exciting post I have posted so far. I was going to wait till' tomorrow to post this but I can't. The excitement is too real. I have been trying some new products and some old ones that I have reconnected with.

The first one is the Wonderstruck perfume by Taylor Swift. I got this perfume awhile back when it first came out and i didn't wear it as much but I did and still do loved it. I've been wearing it for the past couple months and I can't stop. It is a very soft floral scent with subtle notes of fruit and vanilla. I must say that one of the best things is the bottle and the charms. Its too cute.

On to the my favorite May Essie polishes. From left to right, Mint Candy Apple, Muchi Muchi, and Bikini so Teeny. These three polishes are by far my fave for this May especially Muchi Muchi. The picture is rather accurate for the color. (A light pastel pinkish color) At first Bikini so teeny seems like a little weird for my skin tone but when I put it on and it dried, it was a really nice summer color, somewhat like a polka dotted bikini color. haha. How punny? Finally Mint Candy Apple. This one was raved about ever since it came out and it is a gorgeous color.

The next thing is the Falsies by Maybelline. Now, I know that everybody raves about it but so far I've been on this hunt to find the perfect mascara for my teeny tiny eyelashes. Of course, my hunt will never end but I have come to terms that the Falsies is my go to mascara. It elongates, volumes, and darkens them.

Finally the last beauty items is the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I used this product as a cover up for my skin because I don't need a heavy cover up and it does the job nicely. However, it is on the pricier side but i do find that it isn't harsh on my skin and leaves my face nice and hydrated.

Lastly, the last of the last is not a beauty product but a food item. ITS COOKIE BUTTER! Its so delicious. I can proudly and honestly say that i have finished one of these jars in a day. Of course with strawberries, you know to keep it healthy. This one is swirled with chocolate and it only makes it 100x better. The actually cookie butter swirl part has little pieces of cookies and tastes like a gingerbread type spread. You can pick up this jar at your local Trader Joes and you will totally thank me later.

So that's it for my small may favorites and I hoped you enjoyed them.
Let me know what are your favorite may items are?
