My five favorite things about Fall

To me Fall is the beginning of all things amazing. It starts getting colder and fairy lights start popping up everywhere. It's so cute and festive! So to kick off the Fall spirit here are my 5 favorite things about Fall.

1.) Hot drinks- Who doesn't freakin' love a good ole hot cocoa? Some whip, some marsh, some mellow, ya feel? haha.

2.)Sweater and leggings- There' s nothing better than wearing clothes with a little wiggle room.

3.)The color Burgundy- Yes, just yes. Khloe Kardashian and burgandy lips anyone?

4.)Rain- I know this is a weird one but I love the sound and smell of rain. I could just stay in my bed all day and i'll be okay because of the rain.

5.)SWEETS!- Cookies, chocolate, and candy GALOREEE!! Need I say more.

🍂 What are some of your Fall favorites? 🍂

Viva La Juicy

As a kid I ALWAYS wanted a juicy couture bag or keychain or anything. I was obsessed. I love the fluffy rectangular bags with the massive diamond ring on the side that I never got. Which actually worked out well cause I grew out of it... or so I thought.

I was at Costco getting my overwhelmingly massive amounts of food for practically the rest of the year when I spotted the Viva La Juicy fragrance. I stopped did a double take and stood there for 10 minutes trying to figure out what it was doing in a Costco. ( If I would have gotten it on film it would have been hilarious.)

I grabbed it, walked away, dropped it in my cart, and we headed for checkout. Next thing you know, the fire alarms go off and we all have to evacuate because a lady decided to smoke in the bathroom. What a genius, I swear. Anyway, about an hour later I break open the plastic and sniff the floral-y candy goodness to my hearts content.

When I mean to my hearts content, I mean that I still keep it in the packaging and carry it in my bag. So whenever I'm grumpy I whip it out and smell it, or even weirder I'll shove my nose into my sweater and sniff it. I pretty much embarrass everyone around me. haha

So, I wasn't going to do a post on this because I didn't feel it to be super special. I just thought it was another Aveeno daily moisturizer. Plus, I wasn't super excited when I got it so I just tossed it into my bag and moved on with my day.
Boy, was I wrong. Whenever my face was just gross and dry it was there in my bag. It's that 'I never knew I needed it until I had it' kinda thing. And I really didn't know I needed it until I had it. After using it for a month my skin is super soft all the time and doesn't dry out as easily.
Let's be honest, it's from Aveeno. Aveeno has been my fragrance free holy grail since birth. I don't know why I doubted it. Silly me.

Product Review

A couple days ago I picked up the Lux Naturals Citrus Pop! Body soap from Whole Foods and I have arrived at a conclusion that I LOVE CITRUS! Orange, Lime, Grapefruit, Lemon, you name it.
This soap smells amazingggg! The only sucky thing is that it doesn't stay on that long. The smell probably disappeared within a couple of hours but it does smell really good in the shower. I even stayed in the shower longer just to smell it. (I'm such a weirdo, I can't)

It lathered really nice, kinda like buttah! No, really even my skin feels really soft. Out of all the body soaps that I've tried, this one is my favorite!

Homemade Hummus!

Homemade hummus anyone? Seriously best thing ever! Don't get me wrong Sabra's the bomb and everything but there's just something to homemade hummus that you just can't  beat. It's way lighter and your controlling what you eat.

The ingredients are super simple and you definitely have them on hand

One can (13 oz) of chick/garbanzo beans
3/4 cup of Olive oil
1 Tbsp of water
A clove of garlic
A quarter of an onion
1 tsp sesame seeds ( I didn't have tahini paste)
Salt and pepper to taste
lime/lemon to taste
Food processor or blender

All you have to do is throw everything in and blend awayyyyyyyyyy!
Grab anything, and I mean anything to dip it with. I've used it all.

Product Review

I went to Whole Foods this week with no intentions of getting anything but obviously it never works out that way. I always end up in the soap isle. I'm that weirdo that sniffs every single soap bar to my hearts content. I picked a funky looking soap bar and I fell in love. It didn't have a name tag on it so I had know clue what I was smelling but it didn't matter. It was love at first sniff.
I did end up searching it online and it was, of course, citrus pop! Its so funky looking, I love it.
If you get it online its $6.50 per bar but I got it pre-sliced and weighted (20.99 a pound)  and I payed around 5 bucks.
I haven't gotten around to trying it out because I am currently using the sensitive skin dove bar, but as soon as that one is finished (which it almost is!) I will let you know. Pinky Promise.
