What I'm currently burning...

Since it gets darker a lot sooner, my favorite thing to do is to light my tree and burn Fresh Balsam because it smells exactly like Christmas trees. It isn't the prettiest of all the candles but it is the only candle that is half empty and diminishing as I type. 

I am also currently loving Vanilla Bean Noel and I now understand why everyone else loves it so much. It smells like something sweet with a little hint of vanilla. It kinda reminds me of Christmas sugar cookies...My nose maybe off on that BUT it does smell like something sweet. Haha 

  Next up is Winter Candy Apple. I haven't burned this one yet so if you have it, let me know what you think of it! :)

Last but not least is Banana nutmeg bread pudding. It is by far my favorite! It's that smell that makes you forget all your problems. Haha, maybe not but it's pretty close. It doesn't smell like bananas it smells more like nutmeg and warm spices but oh my goodness it smells so freaking good. If it was edible you bet your butt I would be eating it right now. (I'm sorry for the hostility, it just smells so good!) And that packaging! Props to whoever made it!

Candian OOTD

Last week I headed up to Canada to watch my cousin marry her fiance. Is it just me or is everything leading up to the wedding way more fun than the actual wedding? Let me know in the comments. Black Friday Collective Haul! 

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you had way too many servings! I know I had way too much but that's the wonderful point. To eat too much and not be able to fit into the pants that you fit in two weeks ago.

After I had dinner I got the itis and headed to bed. I didn't want to go shopping at midnight since I knew I would be cranky. So instead I went the next morning to Union square and met my best friend for some good ole black friday shopping. 

I didn't get everything in one shot and some of it were gifts but I thought I would just throw it all in.

 My swatches suck! 

I think everyone has a soft spot for their first real lipstick purchase. Mine was Pomegranate from Bite beauty and not gonna lie I do have a soft spot for them. I saw some of their Christmas-y stuff online and my mom was in need of a new lip product so of course the first counter we went to was the Bite Beauty one. Swatch after swatch after endless swatch she ended up leaving happily with the Best Bite Remix. 

It comes in a really cute red Altoids-y can with a mirror. Which was a total plus when my mom couldn't wait and was putting it on outside of Sephora. It comes with four minis of their lip pencil in the shades :  Pomegranate, Sable, Rhubarb, and Winterberry. 

Pomegranate is a bold "Hollywood" red color.

Sable is a nude pink color

Winterberry is a purple-y berry color. 

Rhubarb is more of a light plum-y color. 

My mom really loves Rhubarb but I've been trying to convince her that Winterberry would look great on her since she not a red lip kinda girl. But overall she is really pleased with it. :) 

P.s - Winterberry and Sable might be limited edition! 

Someday Summary 

Currently drinking a lot of apple cider and spicy chai lattes. So good. :) 

 I took off all the Halloween decorations and put out some Thanksgiving deco and some good ole potpourri.  
I literally just figured out how to spell potpourri. haha.

I'm headed up to Canada for my cousins wedding and I have no wedding attire which only means...;)

Sunset are looking so gorgeous now with it being November and all. I've even been looking forward to them every day.  

It BAKING SEASON! Lets the pies, cookies, and cakes take over me! :D Who doesn't need a little fairy magic in their lives?
