The love is unreal...

My love for tacos is never ending. I feel like you cant get any other satisfaction similar to when you eat a taco. Is it just me? Like if you want a burger and there isn't one near you,  you can be like oh this weird item with some funky looking meat and fake cheese will have to do but NOT a taco. Its a weird feeling isn't it? No food item will succeed lying to your stomach and be like "I'm a taco"  when its definitely not.

Since this weird taco explosion has been hitting me hard I had to pick up a package of corn tortillas on my way over to the Pathmark. And then it all began.

FISH TACOS!!!
fried nutmeg tortillas, bassa, peach salsa, purple slaw, avocado cream= holy guacamole!

Tacos for breakfast? why not?
Corn tortilla, goat cheese, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, parsley= O_o yaass!

I still have a massive amount of tortillas so luckily the journey doesn't end here. :D

SMORGASBURG!

Over the weekend I've been stopping by this food flea market. Its called Smorgasburg you may have heard of it. I swear it was in my fate to stumble upon it. It was a total accident on how me met. I'll just get to the story. Once upon a time I was in a carriage with the King when we spotted it up from our trail. I had no clue what the heck it was. I was just excited to see a bunch of tents because all that means is a  glorious market. I thought it was a flee market with all those fresh fruits and veggies. So next thing you know we stopped by because of my incessant whining. We both took the long and treacherous trail to the mystery. It was burning hot. Like, no seriously. I probably sweated off what I ate. Anyway, I walked all the way to uncover the mystery and then the sign appears. In black print it read "Smorgasburg". I grabbed my dad and ran in like a child. It was epic. Ramen burgers, fries, coconut water, milkshakes, doughnut, oh myyyy!

My first encounter

Since they are only there on Sundays I of course have to go there more than once.

Ramen Burgers!!!!

Peep my milkshake

Almond toffee ice cream sandwich, absolutely divinneee!!!

Such a glorious sight of the ramen burgers in the making.

P.s.- Can you tell that I have been watching way to many Once upon a time episodes at once?

 Product Review

The other day I went to a local Trader Joe's picking up my usual. You know the deal, hummus, goat cheese, tortillas, ravioli, and of course about a pound of glorious chocolate. I have been looking for a nice summer tea, like the fruity ones so I went to check them out. The section was pretty small in mine but found this gem.

I was it and I just grabbed, no thinking involved. I just couldn't pass something up with the words "matcha" and "latte". So, I went home and made it and holy moly! It was the bomb dot com. It tastes so similar to Starbucks Green Tea Latte. It's has a strong #matcha taste but its not overwhelming and it doesn't leave like a weird taste in your mouth. I've been making it twice everyday since I got it and its almost gone! I so need more. No lie, I'll probably buy 3 cans.

Her little sleepy face :)

SUMMER MORNING ROUTINE 2014

I have been really into morning and night routine post and videos. They make me feel so inspired to actually get out of my bed and do something.
Since it's summer I felt the need to push myself to work out a little. This morning I woke up around 10 o'clock, washed my face, grabbed a cup of water, and threw on my "gym clothes." Which is basically a pair of old leggings, an old shirt, and a sports bra. I did a couple of mins on the jumper and couple of arm lifts. My terminology is probably so off. You can totally tell how much I work out.

I was sweating like a pig even thought it was supposed to be a LIGHT workout but I immediately jumped into the shower. I have been recently using my Bath and Body works Moonlight Magic body soap. By the way does anybody else get really sad when you know you won't find your really good smelling body soap or is it just me? After I get out of the shower I moisturize and head to kitchen to EAT!! FOOD! YES!

Now, I totally planned something healthy today but when I looked into the fridge the ingredients were gone. I guess that's what I get when I wake up at 10. So I opted for a ooey, gooey, and cheesier option along with a sliced up pear, a boiled egg, and honey lemon water.

After that I finished eating, I got dressed and ready for the rest of the day.

Shirt : Forever 21
Bandeau : H&M

Where I live its been raining and gross and humid and over all just blah. *sigh* ANYWAY, a couple lunches ago I made a watermelon fresca that was the bomb and always is. Its super similar to the other drink and even easier.

What you will need:
1/2 a watermelon
a scoop of raspberry gelato
1/4 cup of water
a couple cubes of ice

That's it!

All you need to do is throw the watermelon and the gelato into the blender and just blend away. You're pretty much done there but I like it to be a little on the less chunkier side, so I just put it through a sieve. Once its in the pitcher I poured some out into a cup with some ice and ate my lunch like a ogre.

Its a mess in the background cause we were making dinner hence the mini wheels. haha.

PRODUCT REVIEW

I have gotten the chance to try out the shampoo and conditioner that I posted about two blogs ago and I wanted to follow up on it. This shampoo, and I say this with all honesty, smells so freaking amazing! I know I said it before but I just can't deal with it. What also doesn't help is that it smells even better once you lather it into your hair. It almost smells a little nutty... no that's not right. Maybe coconut-y? Haha. Yea that sounds about right.

Despite the delicious smell the shampoo is actually really good. When you lather it in it really does foam up and get all nice and bubbly with only a little squeeze. This is really nice for people like me who have about a pound of hair on their head and have to constantly use a massive amount of shampoo and conditioner. I'm super glad to have picked it up and I am totally going to buy these products time and time again. For the smell or just cause it makes my hair feel silky smooth I have absolutely no clue.

Good morning!! I have been spending the past week at ICE which is a culinary school and I wanted to share some of the lovely photos that I took while I was there.

And then there was Eataly, the love of my life.

On one of my adventures around the city I stopped into a CVS and picked up a shampoo and conditioner that I have always wanted to try out from the OGX line. (pssst! Its on sale now! ) I have heard such good things from this brand and I cannot wait to try it out for myself.

I picked up the nourishing coconut milk shampoo
and conditioner mainly because of the smell. I just love it when my hair smells like various fruits rather than any of the other smells out there. Is that weird of me? *thinks a little then shakes head*

I have yet to try it mainly because I was tired and slept over someones apartment and didn't have this shampoo on hand. But I am lucky enough to see this face in the morning. Who could resist this face, like really? (She decided that she wanted my sock.)

I will be posting a review of this shampoo and conditioner around the weekend when I get to try it out. :)

I just got back from school and I thought that I would put my two thumbs to go use. I have been spending the past couple days around the Flatiron district and it has been awesome. It's such a lovely neighborhood to spend a couple of days at.

Right now Madison Sq. has artwork pieces around the park that are pretty cool to look at.

Hey guys! So I recently went shopping and one of my favorites items that I have been wearing most often is my white floral wire headband. To be honest I was never one of those little kids that liked things in their hair. It was au naturel with me. Rockin' bed head since 95' and lovin' it. But I think that wire headbands are much better because you can mold them to your head the way that pleases you best. I have been wearing it in a couple different ways and I thought that I would share it with you.

The first way that I like to wear it would be as I like to call it the "coachella way". I have no idea why I like to call it that since I have never been to coachella but for some reason I feel like the name suits it well. I just simple measure my head and whatever excess is twisted around.

The next one which I wear most often is simply just a bow. I think it makes any outfit super girly and cute and it just adds a little something extra to your outfit. I part my hair so that most of my hair is behind the head and the small pieces that shape my face are kept in the front. Then I wrap it in between the two section that I created, then twist it to secure. From that point on you are left with two pieces and all you have to do is twist them in the opposite direction. I know it sounds super complicated but I swear its the total opposite.

The last way is just a regular headband. This way is super traditional but slightly better. You know when you get the regular elastic one and then there's a bump in the back of your hair because of it and when you take off it off you have a headache? Yea, I know it sucks, with wire headbands that doesn't happen! Isn't great? I think so too.

I hope every one has a great fourth of July tomorrow!
